Here's all the information for the upcoming 2022 FSY
•Q: What is FSY
•A: For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conferences are five-day events that include activities, devotionals, and classes designed to help strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and provide opportunities for youth to grow spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually. FSY is a high priority of the general leadership of the Church, and they have directed that FSY be available to all youth and will, therefore, cover the majority of the conference cost.
•Q: At what ages are youth eligible to participate in FSY?
•A: Youth may attend FSY sessions scheduled for their stake beginning in the year they turn 14 and may be no older than 18 by December 31. Youth who are graduating from high school and are no older than 18 by December 31 will be able to register, but at a later date. Graduating youth can register for any session with available space.
•Q: How much will FSY cost?
•A: Each youth will be asked to pay $75 at registration. In addition, the ward will pay $75. The cost of the conference covers food, lodging, and trained YSA Leaders. Please contact your bishop if you need financial assistance, we don’t want cost to be a limiting factor for such an important experience.
•Q: When does registration open?
•A: General Registration opens Jan 25th @ 3PM. If you have graduated from high school and still wish to attend, registration opens Apr 12 @ 10AM. Registration is located here: https://bit.ly/FSY-REG-TGS
•Q: Does each youth need a Church of Jesus Christ online account to register?
•A: Yes, each youth who wishes to attend must have an account with ChurchofJesusChrist.org using the youth’s email address. If you do not have one or see a registration error, contact your ward FSY Rep for assistance. Please log in with your child’s account as soon as possible (before registration opens) to validate it is working.
•Q: Do I need to be a member of the Church to attend?
•A: No, but you will need to create an online account to register. Contact your local FSY Representative for assistance.
•Q: Should I register with my ward?
•A: While this is possible, FSY leadership suggests registering at your own personal convenience and not with your ward. They also want each youth and their parents to plan when and where to attend in consideration of their family needs.
•Q: Will Transportation be provided?
•A: No, each family is responsible for transportation. If that is a limiting factor, please contact your ward FSY Representative or Bishopric member.
•Q: Can I request a roommate?
•A: Participants may request a single roommate by entering their desired roommate’s registration confirmation number during the conference registration process. You will receive an email when a person has entered you as their roommate.

•A: Experience a fun and positive environment that helps you feel the joy of the gospel
-Participate in group games that will keep your mind and body active
-Develop new, and possibly lifelong, friendships
-Associate with other youth who share your beliefs
-Engage in activities that will bolster your self-esteem and increase your confidence
-Study truths of the gospel with engaging teachers
-Learn to receive revelation and answers from the scriptures
-Be mentored by YSA counselors and assistant counselors who teach and encourage you in gospel living
-Take part in inspiring devotionals
-Learn to better communicate with your friends, parents, and others
-Be brave and show off your talents by auditioning for the variety show
-Share your testimony through music
